The baby's father is 22, while I am 18 and I live with my parents in Texas. The baby's father would like to come and see the child whenever he can. (paternity has been estashblished). My parents do not really like him, although he is a good father and pays child support. Because I live in their home, can they set up the time and days the baby's father sees his child? Or can he come whenever he likes?

This one is tricky. You are legally a tenant of your parent's home, but it is still their property. I don't know what the law would technically be on this. Does the father not have a place of his own that you could take the baby to see him?

Is there a custody and visitation order in place? If so, your parents cannot interfere with what times he is allowed to see his child. If you want to give him extra time with the baby, I think that's great and your parents should be happy that you guys are getting along.

It's your parents' home. They have rights as far as their home is concerned.

They can bar him from entering the premises if they decide to do so---meaning that you'll have to meet the baby's father someplace else for him to see the child.
