    Internet connection problems
    Okay here is my problem, I have a single PC connected to the internet by a cable/dsl modem* motorola SB 5100 surfboard* my internet supplier is blueyonder broadband. I have used this setup for two years now on the same PC without any problems but recently my internet connection seems slower my download speed has decreased to almost nothing and my local area connection will reset itself whilst I am surfing the web. Does anyone know how why this is happening because blueyonders website is no help at all. Thanks for any replies.

    If you have had the same set-up for two years with the same computer then it may be that your computer has picked up a bug or that you have saved so many things that it is slowing down your connection speed. My suggestion would be to back-up your information and then defragment your hard drive. If you need further assistance after this or during this you may call. Hope this helps.

    Call your isp first for them to check and figure out if it's a line, modem, or a PC problem... hope this helps
