I need to power up a unit requiring 230 VAC single phase. The lab power is 230/3 phase and standard 120 VAC single. What is the correct way to wire this?
If the unit you need to connect can handle 230 volts, then all you need to install is a two pole circuit breaker into the 3 phase panel, and install your circuit.
If your unit cannot handle the 230 volts, then you will need a buck-boost transformer rated to handle the KVA load of your unit.
