When I put the thermostat on auto the heat will not come on ,however when in fan mode it blows cool air. The ac is working but in heating mode it will not come on,explain

When I turn thermostat to auto the heat will not come on ,however in fan mode it blows cold air .why is the heat not coming on

That means the t-stat is OK. You should check the ignition park for the solution.
