30 day notice sample in California
I want to evict my son from my house, thre is no written contract between us so I figure a 30 day notice is best. Am I right?

    Yep.

Please be informed that your tenancy is terminated as of <insert 30 days from now>, I will expect you to vacate by then.

    Hello kikin:

Only if he's an adult. You can't evict children.

Thanks, CA has so many laws that differ from the rest of the states I just wondered.

    Hello again, ballenger:

For it to be legal, it has to be written and it has to be received in a timely manner. The law does NOT designate HOW delivery must be made.

Certainly, if you were to DO this, try to get a signature on your copy as a receipt. If you can't, document the circumstances of the delivery...
