    installing Honeywell FocusPro 6220 thermostat
I need to replace the old Trane Weathertron model BAYTSAT2309 thermostat with a Honeywell FocusPRO TH6220D. The thermostat controls a two-stage heat pump/electric backup - single stage A/C system.

    1) First where do the wires go in the new stat?
The old Trane thermostat has 8 terminals: X2/black wire, O/orange wire, G/green wire, Y/yellow wire, T/tan wire, R/red wire, W/white wire, B/blue wire
Terminals in the new Honeywell are: L, E, Aux, G, O/B, C, Y, R, Rc. I can make some logical assumptions here but I need to check with a pro.

    2) Does the jumper between R and Rc remain in place?

    3) Kindly provide some help regarding Installer Setup:

    Function – Setting
    1 – 5
    2 - 0?
    3 - 1?
    5 - ?
    6 – 9?
    7 - ?
    8 - 9
    9 - ?
    10 - ?
    12 - 0
    13 - 1
    14 - 0
    15 - 5
    16 - 0
    27 - 90
    28 - 50

    Thanks much in advance!

Successfully solved my probem. I'm posting this for others use.
old BStat terminal-new TH6220 terminal: X2-E, O-O/B, G-G, Y-Y, R-R and leave jumper btwn R and Rc in place, W-Aux, B-C. Wire from the old T terminal gets taped off and not used. Terminal L in the new Honeywell is not used.

The Installer Setup is simple after System Type(1) is selected #5 because most of the other settings are defaults. Good luck!
