Why won't my 92 prelude start
I have a 92 prelude f22b I got is as a project and the car won't start all I hear when I turn the key is the starter spinning and it will back fire sometimes nothing else I replaced the starter and the distributor but nothing has changed just the starter spinning as before. The fly wheel has all it's teeth and the timing belt is in good condition. If anyone can give me some sort of help or lead to fixing the problem it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Was the car running before you changed the distributor? If so may have it out of time. Good luck

No the car was never running when I purchased it. The man I bought it from said the timing belt broke but when I took the valve cover off to inspect the belt and it looked like new. So I manually turned the motor making sure it wasn't locked up and everything appeared fine Could it
    Have jumped time?

robles505, that's a good possibility, if the timing belt broke, and someone just put one on without timing the engine. Good luck
