Sharp aches in Lower Abdomen whenever I move..
I am a 17 year old female, my mother has begun working shifts where I only see her for like 5 minutes a day so I don't really get much of a chance to talk with her, and my father.. well he's my dad and no dad wants to hear about 'vaginal issues', + it would be quite awkward for me. If anyone knows what is going on, or if anyone has expirenced the same problems then you're responses will be greatly appreciated.

I have been getting aches in my lower abdomen below my belly button for about 2 weeks now, I didn't think much of it before because it was just a little ache that would come and go, nothing that would hurt all that much. Today , I got up off my chair at school and this pain filled my my lower abdomen, (I have also been getting back pains, mostely lower back pains).

Now, Whenever I lean back (even if I lean back very slowly) my lower abdomen feels as if it is bruised or as if someone is pushing quite roughly onto the area. It even hurts if I just uncross my legs or stand up to get off my bed.

I also began getting stretchmarks out of nowhere, horrible stretchmarks too.. I've always had them on my legs but they are worse then they used to be, above my armpits, hips, even my breasts. I have also been strugling with my weight, I haven't had much of an appatite so I do not eat that much at all, no junk food, I excersise but I can't seem to lose any weight.. I'm wondering if this could all be related to the problem I have been getting checked out by numerous of doctors in my thyroid gland(neck).. I have a 2cm bump in my through, and it is being monitored.. but I have no idea what these aches could be from.

I also got that pain an hour or two ago, the acheing in my lower abdomen 'struck' and then it shot down my groin and vaginal area. I'm not really sure what is going on.

I have not been sexually active for about 7-8 months so I doubt it's anything to do with that..

If anyone has any ideas and answers, thank you ahead of time !

You need to go to the dr's. That much pain can't be good. Back pain and lower abdominal pain are not just "vaginal issues." and he's your dad. He loves you. He'd rather have an awkward moment while you describe some of your pain and be able to get you help than have you suffer silently.

The kind of pain you're describing is somewhat broad. Meaning, there could be several reasons for it. Since its lasted for a few weeks, its not likely ovulation or menstration. There is a chance you have an ovarian cyst (VERY common btw), a kidney infection, or numerous other possibilities... but there is no way to tell you for sure without seeing a doctor.

I suggest going to see your GYN or family doctor very soon. It might be nothing, but its best to get it checked out.
