    CD-RW Drive does not work
    I got this Poineer DVR110 (external drive) for my laptop .
    In the beginning it worked fine and did not require any driver.( I guess windows installs the hardware automatically)
    Until recently I get a message the USB drive is malfunctioning and it stops automatically.
    I am completely lost and frustrated.
    Please please help me.

    You should start troubleshooting this problem by seeing if you can connect another USB device on that port of your computer.

    If other devices work on that port, at least you'll know it's not the USB port on the computer. You can check the drive cables and connection to the computer to see if something is loose.

    If you can't get any USB devices working, you can focus your troubleshooting in on the USB port itself. You can try deleting the port and allowing Windows to re-detect it.

    Do you leave the drive plugged in all the time? Does it have an external power supply? Try unplugging or shutting the power off then reconnecting.
