Me and my husband have been married for just a year now.He is around 32 and I am 21.He fails to understand me and my emotions, screams at me all the time.My friends suggest me that I should leave him asap. I am really confused what should I do? I married him because I loved him but now he shows just no interest in me.Should I stay in this marriage although I am so unhappy and wait for him to understand me or should I quit.

Did he scream at you before you were married or is this something new? If it's new, it's possible that he's under a lot of stress. If job or financial stress is the problem, there is hope.

Does he use the screaming as a means to make you do and/or think as he wants (controls you)? If so he may be a verbally abusive spouse. If he is I would suggest that you leave before he destroys every shred of your self-esteem.
