Worried about this new pain.
I'm an eighteen year old girl, and so far, I haven't really had any physical problems in my life. Over the last six months I have gained a substantial amount of weight (for real, no exaggeration). I am also a heavy smoker, and I have an anxiety problems, so I am no stranger to stress.
Anyway, to the point, for the last few days I have been getting strange feelings in my left arm, accompanied with a LOT of naseua. It starts as a sort of numbness, which turns to shooting pain from the tips of my fingers to about two inches above my elbow. I also notice it feels like there's a cold breeze, but just on my arm.. This persists for about 30 minutes to 45, the it will go away. It usually happens about 3 times a day.
I'm worried because of my excessive weight gain, smoking patterns and stress that it might be something seriously wrong. But I'm hoping some of your opinions might ease the worry??
