I just started my commercial cleaning business, but it has been really hard trying to find potential prospects how do I go about finding bids without going door to door passing out cards?
There are many methods Corey: networking, advertising (mags, newspapers, web, etc), referrals, seminars, etc.
However, the proven method is always face to face, it has proven to be the most successful.
May I ask why you do not want to do 'door to door' selling?

It really seems like door to door is the hardest way of advertisement, but I know if I stay persistent I will get the break I need. Thanks for the advice.

Maybe if you try not to be so 'stiff' so to speak Corey. Learn your business thoroughly so you are confident and then just approach it with a good attitude and talk to them as you would in a normal conversation not scared and too formal. People will relate to you beter also.
