    Hi, my father get the usa nationality, and will apply for me an application I130 petition, how many years it will take such cases so I can take green card

    And what is your marital status? These are important as it determines if you are and IR or what family-based preference category you are in.

    I am from lebanon, 29 years old, married since one year , I don't have children yet

    Good information. As a married adult child of a USC, you are a third preference. Your USC father can file the I-130 relative petition to start the process and that filing date establishes your priority date, your place in line. But please check the DOS visa bulletin and you will see that preference is backlogged to cases with a priority date of May 2001.

    Have your father file now and keep track of the visa bulletin. Good luck.

    Thanks for this information , I still want to know how many years it takes such cases to be finished and get my green card
