    Is there a repair shop for old Nutone door chimes in or near Olympia Washington ?

    You might be able to send one for factory service. What is the problem with it? You might be able to fix it yourself.

    There are very few things with most standard doorbells. One being the connection to the button and the other being a low voltage transformer. And you have what is called a striker if it is the bell ringing kind like a chime. So it can be at any of those points. Another thing is that you could call your local lock smith and ask them to recommend someone.

    Sure. If you have an old unit. Have you tried looking at the doorbell button to make sure it works?

    What you can do is check it with a volt meter. Check the wires at the doorbell and see if when the button is pressed you get voltage.
