I'm want to understand how a 2 tank water heater system works. I think a schematic will tell me what I want to know. Is a schematic available?

Here's a couple pics. One piped in series, one in parallel. The parallel one is a bit deceptive, because the hots will actually be on the left and the colds on the right, but you get the idea.
