How to change a hardwired light to a plug in
I have a light that is hardwired. I has 3 wires, white, black and copper wire. How can I change this to a light I can plug in the wall. I bought a wire from Lowe's and it has only two wires. Which color goes where and what do I do with the copper wire?

    Thank you

The right plug would be with 3 prongs, the third prong is round and gets the ground wire. This light was designed to have a ground so you should go back and exchange that wire you bought at Lowe's
