Age of consent for Pennsylvania, terms of the law?
I went to the movies with a friend who will soon be 22. I am 17. By the end of the night, there was heavy touching and kissing, "making out" and "wandering hands" and I want to know if this was illegal. My friend, a different friend, told me that the age of consent is 16, but limits to a four year age difference. My friend is currently 21, so I know for sure that this at the time was legal, however I need to know, just in case, if later on (perhaps a few months, when he is 22) if this would be illegal

    Could be:
When the alleged victim is 16 or older and less than 18 years of age, and the alleged offender is over the age of 18, the Commonwealth may charge the offense of corruption of minors or unlawful contact with a minor, even if the activity was consensual.

What exactly would have to happen for him to be charged? My parents approve of him already, and my mother is encouraging me to date him.

And, I'm sorry but ever since I trolled Wikipedia, I don't trust it.

If your parents approve, why are you asking? I don't see why anyone else would report him.

If you Google it, there are many reliable sources.

E-Mop, you just split up with your boyfriend of the last year, don't go from the frying pan into the fire.

    I do worry.

It hasn't even been a week, it hasn't even been 2 days and you're already fooling around with another guy?

Take things slow. Go out, have fun, but keep it as just friends. Trust me, if you care about this guy and would like to have a future relationship with him, it's too soon. This would be a rebound.

Just have fun, be 17 for a while. Okay?

I don't exactly know how to be 17. And in all honesty, I've kind of had a thing for this guy for a few years...
