My stopper cylinder broke of from the linkage so when I remove the stopper all I get is the cover and the first part of the linkage without the cylinder. What should I do ?

Hi SSR...

Take a metal coat hanger and break it down so you can make a small hooked end and then go fishing for the cylinder... should be able to grab it at the cross bar of the cylinder. Let me know how it goes...
