Plumbing Survey - I have a small house in Cincinnati, built in 1890. We are remodeling the bath (2nd floor) and kitchen. I already have a 2" drain pipe in the ouside wall for the bathroom. The tub was draining through 1 1/4" to a lead pipe to the cast iron stack. It was also draining "uphill"! I'm going to replace all the plumbing from the meter (the shutoff doesn't really work to well) and use brass ball valves for shutoffs as I got them 1/2 price. I plan on 3/4" from the meter to the water heater and 3/4" cold to the bathroom. Everything else will be 1/2". So - my question is - PEX, CPVC or copper?
