What should the ph be in my fish tank
I have a test tube kit that test ph. It comes back blue and purple in the high range ph test, with is between 8.0 ph and 8.2 ph. I have a bubble bar and water is clear how do I fix this problem?

    Thank you

I can't remember the number but I do know that the ph test kit should bring back a greenish color, definitely not blue, that is too alkaline.

You can buy PH reducing powder from pet stores.
Just follow the instructions on the container (adjust ph back slowly)

Normal PH 7.0. Get chemicals to increase and decrease the PH.

Sodium Bicarbonate, Baking soda, is one of them. I believe the other is Sodium Bi-phosphate. Forget which does what.
