Okay... I was just told I have a renal cyst on my kidney 8cm and a one on my liver
    Hello
I was wondering if someone would tell me if an 8cm renal cyst is large to be on a kidney? I had an MRI done and the radiologist saw a possible cyst on my kidney 8cm and also I have something on my liver... could I also have a cyst on my liver too?
I also have bacteria in my urine AND only 20 carbon dioxide in my body! Any ideas?

It sounds like you have a lot of health issues, really difficult health issues. Having problems with your kidneys and liver is really serious. I can't candycoat that in any way. Just listen to your doctors.

Having bacteria in your urine means that your kidneys are not doing their job. So, you are a diabetic type one ?

I am 45 years old and work out ( or used to up until feeling sick) 5 days a week, eat non fat and low sugar foods. I take very good care of myself but about 5 months ago I started feeling so very tired everyday. I did not have health insurance at the time because things were hard. I went to the doctor 2 weeks ago and this is the stuff I found out now. I have all the test results back. What does it mean if I have 20 carbon dioxide ( low) on the test mean?

    Large renal cyst
Is a 8cm renal cyst large for the kidney. Also, is it strange to have a cyst on the kidney and then ( they said a cyst)on my liver as well?
Does it require surgery to remove a renal cyst?

8 cm is a little over 3 inches, which is big. Think of it as a 3 inch diameter ball. Probably about the size of a tennis ball.

I would suspect surgery is necessary for removal and probably not laproscopic.

You would have had to see you doctor to know what you have, what did the doctor tell you, that had to be done ?

CO2, carbon dioxide play a very important part in our blood stream. Yours is low, normal is 40mm.Reduced carbon dioxide levels result in health issues.

Reduced carbon dioxide in your body probably created some of your problems.
