State of Georgia - Received a Summons on Jan 8th from debt collector - I filed a right to defend Jan 20th. Received Document “Order referring cause of action to alternative dispute resolution" dated Feb 18th from the standing Judge. Document states I must respond to the mediation center within 10 days.
I cannot find any resources of what I am supposed to do next. If I could have paid this debt I would have already done so. Just as I would have paid to retain an Attorney to help me.
Can anyone help me with a clear direction as to what I am supposed to do please?

Mediation will try and work out some payment plan, they will look at your income and debts and will look at a plan you submit on how you could make payments.

But remember if they get their judgement, and your state allows garnishment, they can get ( estimated average) of about 25 percent of your paycheck, so working out a deal is in your benefit
