how to add a slab to existing slab
I'm turning a 6X7 patio door entrance into a closet. The difference between the slab and the patio entry slab is 5 inches. Is it OK to frame out the boarder of the slab at the patio, add structural wire and pour over the existing slab to equal the House slab height?

    Hi Charlie,

unless you want the bottom of the closet cold,I would suggest framing the base in with treated lumber and insulting the base.

2X6's measure to @5 3/8th inch, trimming those down to accommodate the new subfloor and from there the walls, etc.
