I caught my coworker looking at my e-mail she somehow knew my password
I came to work one morning and opened my work e-mail that is password protected, and noticed that an e-mail I received had been opened and I did not open it. My office mate and I do not get along and when she got to work she was very mad at me. She had always know my password because when I trained her she had to use my password. I never thought anyone would actually read my e-mail, and honestly I did not care it was all work stuff, except for that day. It happened to be my request to move my office, and it said that I just could not work with that person anymore that was all I said. She is now playing like a victom, but know one seems to care that she broke into my e-mail and read a personal conversation I had with my boss.

First... you should change your password at least monthly even if they don't require it.

If you effectively gave her your password, which you admit to doing... then its not "Breaking into" your account.

Doesn't make it right... but it's the equivalent of leaving written correspondence laying around where others can see it.

Smoothy's right, but on the up side I would use this as an additional reason to your unsavory working environment and get moved on.

    Best of Luck.

A point that you may not have even thought of is this... if others have your password... someone could send an email using YOUR email account making it appear that you did it. SO even if you think there is nothing really private to hide... you have to think about other sorts of possibilities.

Nurse98, you've been given some great responses already, but I have to ask, did you need something specific here? You didn't actually ask a question.
