    Treated Unfairly
I saw an ad for a roommate and I got the room. After six months, the roommate felt she can afford the rent on her own and wrote me a letter to move out in 30 days. I have never been late with the rent and now it is so hard to get a room and start moving out. She never told me I was there for just five months. I feel unfairly treated. What can I do?

    Hello st:

What can you do? Nothing. You have month to month rental. Either party can give the other 30 days notice.

Life's not fair - If it WAS, JR would be the NASCAR Champion for 2006.

Do what your about to be EX roommate did - get a better job so you can make more money and rent on your own.

If you are renting month to month, your landlord can ask you to move with a 30 day notice,

As many said, it is not fair, but it is legal.
