What is the law in Michigan about dating some one that is 18 if I am 16?

At 16 you are way too young and immature to be dating an older person. If you have physical contact it could become statutory rape and he/she could go to jail for a very long time, be labeled a sex offender for the rest of their life.

There is no law against dating, but as the previous answer said, if there is ANY physical contact, the person could get in HUGE trouble. I suggest waiting a couple years. If you get into a relationship, you're just going to fall into the temptation to touch. And therefore, you'd be flirting with the fact that this person's life could be ruined, as the above said.
