    Removal of red hair color
If I color my hair red over a light brown color and I don't like it, can the red color be easily removed?

Red hair dye is the easiest and most quick to fade. Give it three or four weeks and you won't even know it was there. So there isn't any reason to damage your hair by removing it.

Marianna, trust me, you will not have to use bleach. I never had to use bleach, it just faded natural from blond. Worse case scenario, you may even like the red shade you pick and regret if fades so quickly.

I used LOreal copper blond because my hair really took on the red colour so I would always get a good copper colour which I enjoyed. There are many shades of red, investigate them all.

If you have a very vibrant strong red then it will be difficult to get rid of, using home products for vibrant colours like red, platinum and black are difficult to remove and completely fry your hair! I coloured my hair "Live colour XXL Red Passion" by schwarzkopf in the summer of 2009 and went to the hair dresser and they said it would be difficult to strip as my hair was so thin (naturally) so I decided to dye my hair black again and the red still comes through and turns my hair purple, red is hard to keep maintained and will fade quickly.. its best to not go a very bright red at first, try colours with hints of red like copper, auburn and teracotta. Hope this helps - rosanna
