I want to know how I can get a good job with a criminal background. Its been 5 yrs and 7 yrs and don't know exactly what is on my background. I want to get a job in montgomery Alabama. I need help to know my resources.

Have a background check done at your local police station. It isn't unusual for that to be done by an individual. At least you will know where you stand, and it may turn out better then you thought.

All of your convictions will show up on your record. But to be sure, like noted, get a history done on yourself.

Right now with unemployment ranging from 10 to 20 percnent in areas, people with master degrees and no arrests at all, are having to work at McDonalds right now, if they are lucky enough to get hired there.
