Been on probation for 10 years my probation is coming to an end my lawyer states to ask for an early termination but is that possible if I still owe a restitution?

Depending on just how much you still owe in restitution you may want to ask for more probation to pay it off as some Judges and PO's just might violate you if you are not paid in full when it comes to the end of your probation.

How much do you still owe down from what was the original figure you were ordered to pay back?

NO, you will not get off "early" in fact if it is not paid, most likely they willl merely add more probation time to allow you time to pay the money back.

I still owe 12850.00 but they can not extend my probation because I already had it extended and they say I have reached my amount of time they can give me. But mylawyer told me that they sent papers to the court for an early termination

I have heard of people having their probation/parole violated for non-payment of their fines and court costs. Depends on what state your in. But would suggest looking into it further. Maybe calling the court clerk's office in the city/state of your conviction? Good luck with your situation!
