Beckett AFG Burner now has Honeywell R8184G Primary Control. I would like to upgrade to the new Beckett Genisys 7505 Control. Has anyone done this upgrade? Any advice?

The Genisys control has many advanced features such as self checking circuitry, welded relay protection, Diagnostic LED's, last 15 cycles data logging, Oil valve on delay to eliminate smokey start ups, Blower off delay to purge combustion chamber of gasses after demand satisfied, shorter lockout time for safety, pump priming mode, just to name a few. Makes the R8184G very old technology.

hvac1000, you must have misunderstood my question so I will be more clear. Does anyone who actually has installed a Beckett Genisys Primary wish to share any information good or bad about their experience?
If you have not actually installed one, then you have no information as to what I am asking.
I did not ask for opinions on wheather to upgrade or not, but I did ask for actual experience.

I personally have not but know company's that use quite a few. They only had good things to say. They really like the reader with the wire lead instead of the clamp on reader.

Duke 911 the new Beckett control installs easily and we have had good luck so far with them but like all new innovations it has more parts to fail than the old HPC, sometimes simplicity is better and will save money in the lond run... your call

My order came in. I now have the Beckett 7505P Primary along with the clip on display module for monitoring and programming. I also ordered a Beckett Clean Cut Pump so I can now add Pre and Post Delay. Just a matter of when to get to it now.

Yes, I did install the new 7075 control with favorable results. Although I did have a pre purge cycle before, this control gives me a post purge cycle too. I intend to add the display. I naw use the contractor tool to monitor cycle information and history.
The only piont to be aware of is the need to provide additional "L1" wireing. The 8184 series provides internal jumpers for L! This control requires "positive" wireing of "L1" for esch function. Not difficult at all.

Ok, I finally got everything installed. First I installed the new Beckett Clean Cut Pump, went well. My old pump showed 98 PSI on the gauge. Even though the new pump said Factory set at 100 PSI, the same gauge from my old pump showed 112 PSI so I backed it down to 100 PSI.
The Beckett Genisys 7505P installed well, all I had to do was add the extra L1 feed from the junction box and crimp on all the flag connectors. All testing passed well. Now I will monitor the burner for the next few days to make sure everything is good. This weekend I will have the Combustion Tester to check the flame.

Ran the Combustion Analysis: Burner Eff= 79%, Oxygen= 4.5%, Carbon Monoxide=0, Carbon Dioxide= 12.2, Net Stack Temp= 592'F, Excess Air= 26%, Draft= -0.2".
Light off is clean and fast, 600 to 800 ohms on the CAD Cell.
