My period for the last two days has been so heavy (I'm changing my tampon every 20mins) and I'm getting these really big blood clots its really scary and I'v never had it before plus I'v been on my period since dec 09 I'm 19!

If you have been bleeding since December, nadine, you should be seeing a doctor. I would discontinue the tampon use for now and use pads until you can get to the doctor. Why would you wait this long. Your own body is telling you something is seriously wrong.
