I would like to know how much would it cost to get a 1" PVC main water pipe repaired that is located less than 2 ft underground in the front yard? I am located in the Sugar Land, TX area.

If you know where the leak is within a few feet we can help you patch it yourself if this is between the shut off and the home, is it? If you were to pay a plumber it would run at least $150 but rates vary around the country

I agree with Ballengerb1. PVC is easy to work with, inexpensive and widely available. If you cannot dig yourself, hire a teenager for $20.00 to excavate hole around the leak. Then, come back and one of us will lead you through the repair.

In my area, such a repair would run you about $350.00.
