    Warrants in Kentucky
Does any Arrest Warrant or Summons expire in the state of Kentucky? Also, do summons apply even when out of state of KY?

Yes, a summons still applies as long as the party was properly served. Failure to appear will result in a warrant being issued.

A warrant has no expiration date. It only "expires," for lack of a better word, when the party that the warrant is for has been arrested.

Most warrants do not expire, a court may void one ( happens in some traffic courts at times)

A summons is normally for a specific date, for you to appear, so it expires on that date, then if you don't show up in crimianl cases, you can have a warrant out for not appearing, in civil cases you may merely lose the case for not appearing
