My 36 month old son doesn't call me Mom/ Mommy anymore.. He has been calling me by my actual name.. he calls my cousin Mommy but her name is Lenny so I think it just SOUNDS like he's saying that.. I think he might be saying "Memmy" but I hear this is normal for kids his age? Maybe because he hears other people calling me by my name? Well do you have any suggestions to get him to call me Mommy again? I miss it =( And should I try to discourage him from calling me by my name?

This is typical for his age, and yes, like you said, that what he hears people call you, so he uses that name too. Don't force him to call you "Mommy," but use it when you talk to him -- "Do you want to go grocery shopping with Mommy?" and point to yourself, or "Mommy [point to yourself] wants to take a nap. Are you sleepy too?"

My little cousin did the same thing to my aunt around that age. Once he realized it annoyed her and made us laugh he would do it even more. But he grew out of it. So I wouldn't worry about it too much.
