What's the Second Verse to the Song Happy Birthday That Might Be Used in Your Church?
    H, All!

I'm asking this question in the Christianity forum topic area so that it will be more likely to be noticed and addressed by Christians.

I've been involved with many different churches and denominations during my life. I've found that a number of different churches have second verses to the song "Happy Birthday" that seem to be unique to a particular church and maybe their denomination.

If you have a second verse to "Happy Birthday" that you use in your church, would you please share it here?

    Thanks!

Surely someone must have experienced a second verse that might be Christian in nature?

    Thanks!

Thanks for your reply, paraclete! But, I am looking for it concerning the birthdays of anyone. If it is about Jesus or some other figure in Christianity, that's okay too.

    Thanks!

Second verse I have heard at one time. The pastor called the people who were having a birthday to the front of the church and the congregation sang Happy Birthday.

Happy Birthday to you. Happy Birthday to you.
    Happy Birthday God Bless you.
    Happy Birthday to you

Happy Birthday to you . Happy Birthday to you
May God's Love surround you. Happy Birthday to you

    Hope I helped Clough!

My family has always sung the second verse as follows:

    FIRST
    Happy Birthday to you,
    Happy Birthday to you,
    Happy Birthday dear ____,
    Happy Birthday to you.

    SECOND
    May you have many more,
    May you have many more,
    Happy Birthday God Bless you,
    May you have many more.

I don't know from where this came. It was just the norm for us.

In our family, the second verse goes:
May the Dear Lord bless you, May the Dear Lord bless you, May the Dear Lord bless _____________, May the Dear Lord Bless you. Christian enough? :) and BLESS YOU!!

Our church's 2nd verse goes like this (and I'm not 100% sure on the last word... I actually came here to try to find out the exact word, but I'll post what I think it is).

    God Bless you today.
    God Bless you always.
God Bless you and keep you.
    And guide you for age.

On our Girls Brigade girl's birthdays the second verse we sung was:
    May Jesus bless you
    May Jesus bless you
May He guide you and keep you,
    May Jesus bless you
