Randomly the lights hanging in my livingroom will become brighter for a few moments then return to the normal output levels. I am confused as to why this would occur as I am not using any extra electricity in the house when these lights flicker. Any information on this situation would be helpful. Thank you.

Loose connection. Possibly in the service coming into the house. Possibly local.

Have it checked out. Some of your expensive electronics could be destroyed.
