There's been a post with the same title but it's from a few years back and for windows xp. I believe I'm experiencing the same problem now but I have windows vista. I try to download things and the bars and download goes to 100% but when its done and I click run/save at the end it doesn't respond. Could the problem have something to do with my system restoring back a few days to get rid of a virus?
I'm trying to find better solution before I attempt to wipe my computer and re-download everything. (that is if it lets me dowload -.-;;)

Okay since I'm impatient and there was no response, I've gone searching else where and traced down to my expired AVG 8.5. A forum I've read says that avg is the problem that's disrupting my downloads, and it's really hard to remove, I've already removed it in controls panel, and removed it from registry editor, but when I go back to add/remove programs IT'S STILL THERE! Then I went to search for a solution to remove the avg and the only thing I've gotten so far are other programs to help me remove it, the problem is I can't download these "other programs"

Can you download from another computer perhaps tomorrow and copy a usb and bring to your PC

Not sure but may be able to use a public library but wouldhave to ask if they allow .exe files to be downloaded and saved as it is a legit download but use this site and not one above
