    Rheem criterion ignitor
My Rheem Criterion will not ignite. RGDG 10EAMER CW5D302 F3293 3052

There is power to the unit, it worked last night. The thermostat is definitely sending the signal to the furnace to start. Gas is on, water heater pilot is working.
    I watched a start cycle.
    1) Small blower started
    2) Small gas release sound
    3) Large blower started
    4) “BBQ” type pop, I assume from igniter
    5) More gas release sound
    6) No flames
My order may be a little off, I was not documenting it.
Little help please. I am handy but I know very little about HVAC.

I looked through a few other threads and this next section is from them:
    Quote:

There are no error messages on the board.
I do not know where the board is or what an error message looks like.
    Quote:

does your system have a hot surface igniter, or a spark igniter.
I am not sure, I think it is a spark.
    Quote:

Check to make sure that the pressure switch tube port on the draft inducer is not plugged.
I don’t know what this means.

    Thanks.

    More information

The board gives me 2 green lights and no reds. I am assuming this means no errors.
The tube attached to the small blower. I popped it off, sucked on it, a switch clicked in the component the opposite end is attached to. I checked the nipple? The tube attached to on the smaller blower with a paper clip. It is clear.
When the small blower starts the component at the oppposite end of the tube clicks.
There are 2 part near the flames. One is off center to the left, about 3/4" around and 1/4" thick. It has 2 orange wires running to it. I am assuming it is a heat sensor. Looks kind of like one for the blower on a fire place.
The second looks like a single coil, 21/2-3" long, 3/4" wide and 1/4" thick. I am guessing this is the ignitor. This changes my assumption in my previous post of spark ignition. I am instaed guessing I have a glow ignitor. It does not glow when I put suction on the tube to the small blower.
I am at the end of my knowledge. Power and gas are off to the unit, breaker and gas line shut off at unit.
    Any help would be appreciated.

Seems like it is the hot surface ignitor from what I can read up on.
Anyone know an HVAC parts shop in St. Louis that sells to homeowners?
