First things first: where are you located? Laws vary by state/country so we need to know where you are in order to assist you.

Do you have paperwork from the courts that say the child can be with you without supervision? Like for weekend vists etc? If you do then she can't stop you from your visitation. Take her back to court for contempt. And if she brings the child to the contact center bring your paperwork and take the child home with you. There would be nothing they can do to stop you provided your doing it in a legal fashion.

Now that I'm re-reading this, it sounds as if you are only allowed supervised visitation and you don't want to comply with it. That's just my guess, so I could be wrong. If I'm right, then there's not much you can do about it - the order stands as it is and the only way to change it is by going back to court or coming to a mutual agreement.

On the other hand, if you are not ordered to have supervised visitation and the mother is insisting that is the only way that you can see your child, then you have grounds to take her back to court.

I haven't got unsupervised contact I've got a contact order of consent, wher she was bringing my baby to my house. Do you think I will get unsupervised contact as my daughter is only 9 months old ?

What exactly does the court order say that you have in your hands signed by the courts. That is what your going to have to go by for your situation.

What we're trying to understand is do you have a right to see the child without the mother present? From what you're asking, it doesn't sound as if you do.

Barring any criminal history, I don't see why a judge wouldn't allow you time alone with your child. Is there a reason that the order was written as it currently stands, with the mother being allowed to decide when you get to see the child?

My legal team told me the court wouldn't give me unsupervised contact 4 months ago so we went for accesss with the mum I accepted that so did the court. But now we are not getting on she is denying my any contact and she has changed her phone number . She has told me I will only get to see our daughter at a contact center. Like you say I'm no criminal I hope your correct and I can get sum unsupervised contact. It is very upsetting for me the way she is using my daughter against me all I want is to be a dad to my beautiful daughter. Thank you so much

Neither of you has answered the vital question: what does your court order say?

If the order states you are allowed visitation and the mother is interfering with that, then you need to file for contempt of court against her. If the court order states you are not allowed visitation or only allowed supervised visitation, then you need to comply with the order - you cannot force the mother to leave the child with you.
