    KISS

Colors are less important than the letters they co to. Post letters and colors; e.g. Red = R, G = green. Sometimes it's good to know the brand, particularly if Trane.

Generally you don't have to purchase exactly a 2 stage stat. A 3 stage stat will most of the time work, but more expensive.

Do you have aux/emergency heat? This can be considered a second stage.

Do you have an emergency heat indicator?

Do you want to keep it?

Don't buy a Hunter. Look around at www.iaqsource.com. Website is arranged really nice.
