Where to purchase wood laminate flooring?
I want to lay wood laminate down over concrete on ground floor and am confused as to where to purchase it from. I have read bad reviews about lumber liquidators, home depot and Lowe's. Also which is better... with pad attached or without?
The more I research the more confused I get and I don't want to waste my time or money.

Home Depot and Lowe's have always been great with any major project we have done in our home. They will answer your questions about anything you need to know.

I spend most of my time in home depot and Lowe's and I know more than the people they hire!

Ask someone at a flooring store to help you. It does get frustrating at some of the chain stores. I hope you find what you need.

Their products are often fine, it is that often people who buy there are doing it thierself and lack the ability to do it properly, I know many professional construction people that buy all of their supplies at some of those places. It is not as much the product but the improper install and the lack or professional help.

So if you know more than the workers there, you should have no trouble picking the better quality

That's why I am asking here and doing my research. I didn't say I know more about flooring!! I have heard them suggest the wrong thinset, stain, paint, caulk etc... They have also been wrong in my plumbing repairs.

I would like to have an answer from someone who has actually laid the flooring and their experience and not a salesman who just sells it.
