    Insurance Question
Anyone able to answer insurance co-pay question? Like.. if you have two different x-rays done on the same day, in the same building, in the same room, would you insurance expect you to pay 2 co-pays?

If the X-Rays were ordered by different doctors or were the result of different visits, its possible. If they were the result of the same visit or treatment for the same condition by the same doctor they shouldn't.

The same doctor and visit, just one was to make sure I did not fracture my foot, the other was my back to confirm arthritis. Two different conditions.

will depend on the terms and conditions of your policy, some are written where payment is made per treatment of a specific illness, others merely per visit.

Also were the x-rays done at the same time, not same day was one done at 10am and another done at 3 in the afternoon. I ask this since many do by VISIT, not by day, so if you did not have both done at the same time, but left and returned, or had to go and check in another department, it may be viewed as two visits

also were both x-rays or one a scan of some sort

They were done, same day, same time, same room, both x-rays one of my foot and one of my back, just different reasons. I should just call the insurance company, they are a pain the rear to deal with.

Yes, I work in the medical field out of one of the major hospitals, but as a contractor for a medical supplier. So yes trying to first actually talk to a real person, and get a real answer is very hard.
