Children of friend past 21 yrs old
I have a friend who has been monetarily supporting his two children via child support. When his son reached 21, the courts mandated him to pay almost the same amount for his daughter. Now his daughter is 22, but the courts still are taking money from him. He knows that his daughter is working and has been for more than 6mths. Is there a way for him to get all the back money that he overpaid from when his son turned 21 and from his daughter?

Has he got it stopped ?

He should be able to file with the court, since the order should have ended when she turned 21.

    * but honestly he should have been on top of it, and had a court order ready to stop the garnishment. ( I will assume it was a garnishment, since he could have merely stopped paying after she turned 21)
