My trane xb80 gas furnace won't ignite. The glow plug lights up when it tries to come on but it doesn't appear to get any gas at all.

Try the cheap solution first. Clean the flame sensor with fine sand paper or steel wool.

Cleaned that off and still does the same thing

Check for 24 volts at the gas valve during the start of the cycle till it does not light. If voltage present gas valve defective. If voltage not present I would suspect the board.
