Heyy... I am looking for a dissertation topic relating the HR in hotel industry... it can be something to do with the change management also... any suggestion?

How long does your dissertation have to be? (You will want a topic that you will not get bored with.)

With today's slow economy, hotels are sitting empty. What about getting customers into the hotel and how to treat them once they are there? How would HR be involved in those processes (with housekeeping, desk clerks, waiters/waitresses in the restaurant, casino staff is there is a casino attached, bellhops, etc) ?

But I am saying that HR will be involved mainly because I am talking about how within an organization changes are taking place (though external factors like the economy is also an imp factor) hotels have to be ensure that they are changing with the changing demands of the customers, therefore employees play an imp role in implementing the new methods and adapting to demands of customers.
