Here's a solution to all the controversy over full-body scanners. Have a booth that you can step into that will not X-ray you, but will detonate any explosive device you may have on you.
It would be a win-win for everyone, and there would be none of this crap about racial profiling!! :D
If it only worked that way. But its my understanding that many devices being used have to be assembled in some fashion later. And that's why it can be dangerous.
It is all a load of clap trap about false modesty, what is needed is a team of trained doctors to man the machines, then there can be little objection and they can diagnose a few cancers while they are at it.
Its not about false modesty. Its about placing the wrong kind of person as a screener in a position of being able to go beyond a normal search. There has to be some way of detection that won't fry someone's insides if they fly a lot.Quote:

The President to his credit has greatly expanded the drone strikes in AfPakia . Eli Lake at the Washington Times is reporting that there is an increased effort by US authorities to hunt down English speaking jihadists who were training in Yemen with Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab .This comes after DNI Dennis Blair testified to Congress that he was "certain" that it was al Qaeda's priority to attempt an attack on the United States within three to six months....that U.S. criminals were migrating to Yemen for terrorist training. Having been recruited by the radical Imam Anwar al-Awlaki.
The Obots have been bragging lately that Abdulmutallab has been cooperative after his silence since he was given the rights of an American criminal who holds up a convenience store.
What that accomplished was a gap of several weeks where Abdulmutallab could've provided fresh intel about these Americans he trained with .
