    My heat pump's outside unit is humming and not running. What should I do?
    My heat is set on 68, my inside vents are blowing heat. My unit outside is humming and the fan is not turning. It frost up at times. Is there anything wrong with the compresser? Should I call a professional?

    Set the thermostat mode selector to EMERGENCY HEAT & call a pro.
