Step by Step Hooking up Surround Sound
What kind of cable do I need to connect the subwoofer output of the receiver Yamaha R-V1105 (RC type) to the inputs of the subwoofer which are cable wire type (right B&R and left B&R). Thanks a lot.

Sounds like your sub-woofer is a passive type (i.e. requiring an external amplifier). I'm assuming that by 'B&R' you mean the standard black and red speaker-type terminals.

If you want to give us a brand and model number, we may be able to answer your question better.

Also see https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/home-e...sk-445974.html, which answers a similar question. Your solution would be similar, except that you'd want an RCA splitter to split the Yamaha's single RCA sub-woofer output into two RCA plugs, to feed both channels of your 'spare' stereo amp.
