A friend recently told me that she had feelings for me. The only problem was that she was DRUNK at the time of saying it.. I'm just not sure if it was the alcohol talking or if it was the truth? I wouldn't mind dating her but I'm afraid of making our friendship awkward by asking her out if what she was saying that night was all nonsense.. How should I approach this situation?

It was probably the alcohol. I'm engaged and I hang out with drunk people who have told me they love me, they think I'm sexy, they want a chance with me, etc. And then they just forget in the morning. I wouldn't bring it up.

That is how my wife and I started dating. It kind of slipped out of her mouth when we were drinking but I acted like I didn't hear it. Then a few days later I brought it up and we started dating.

I would suggest you stop drinking then cause that isn't normal.(not that I think you are a drunk or anything)

Ha, funny cause I first told one of my ex's that I loved him after hanging out with him for months and when I got drunk I just didn't care about holding it back any longer.. I just started screaming over the loud music and told him about how I felt about him the 1st time I set eyes on him and just poured out my heart...

Another time I said it to a friend of mine and I was just to drunk to really care about what I was saying I cared for my friend a lot but wasn't really in love with him... THAT time was the alcohol talking I felt pretty dumb the next day and tried to pretend it didn't happed lol..

But it really just depends on her state of mind at the time.. if she was TRASHED and blacked out later that night or was just drunk or maybe buzzed does sort of make a difference... I would wait and see if she brings it up..

Everyone is different and alcohol affects each person differently! Also it depends on what they drink too. I know tons of people who don't remember what they said, did when they were drunk, and they are completely normal! Who are you to judge?Nuerologist? I bet you had to Google that word.

Anyway I have had this happened to me, and I was interested in this girl as well. And nothing ever came of it. So I think it could go both ways. BUt I really think you would have to bring it up to her, since if she does remember saying it, she already knows that you know how she feels, and she will just wait for you to react to it. If you don't bring it up to her I think she will just think that you were not interested.

It could also be just drunk talk, and just that!
Some people do believe you speak the truth when your drunk!
I however do not always agree lol

Ask her. You got nothing to lose.
