Unemplyment Compensation Eligibility for Laid Off Corporate Officers and Stockholders
I live in PA and have been laid off by my company. I was an officer of the company and a substantial stock holder, and received regular paychecks for the past two years (annual salary approx 250K per year with year end W-2's). I have never applied for unempoyment before. AM I ELIGIBLE FOR UNEMEPLOYMENT BENEFITS?

P.S. even if you are not familiar with PA law, I welcome your comments as the law in your stat may be similar.

    AK lawyer

For two years you made almost ten times what I'm making and you're asking me for free advice? That's rich (no pun intended).

Chances are you are not eligible. But I suggest you look further here.
